I’m Jessica Hinkel, an oboist and educator from Mobile, Alabama, with roots in Chicago. My journey has led me from the University of South Alabama and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to sharing my passion for the oboe and music with learners of all ages. Whether you’re embarking on your first musical adventure, refining your skills in band, or seeking in-depth oboe instruction, I’m here to support and enrich your journey.

Drawing from a rich performing background and experiences with world-renowned musicians, I aim to nurture creativity, discovery, and joy in music. I have students from all over the Mississippi & Alabama Gulf Coast region, and I’m so excited that you’re checking out what my professional website has to offer!
